Description

The F11P is a compact 2-way passive speaker suited to a wide variety of applications. The F11P can be found in use as a nearfield monitor, in home hi-fi systems and installed in bars/hotels where high quality sound is required.

The F11P uses the same cabinet as the active self powered F11. This is a moulded material that offers exceptional acoustic properties being 50% more dense and over twice as rigid as traditional MDF. Mass & rigidity is further increased by the use of a unique compression brace. The benefits from this innovative design are apparent in the bass performance which is exceptionally tight, punchy and extended for a cabinet of this size. No compromise is made with the high frequency driver as the F11P uses the same high quality ferrofluid damped soft dome used in more expensive Quested models. Add to this the audiophile quality passive crossover, free of unnecessary complexity and the use of polypropylene capacitors and aircored inductors throughout, and the result is a speaker that sets new standards for small 2 way designs.

Other features include a front mounted LED that flashes to indicate that levels are close to clip, built in mounting points and full magnetic shielding.

Applications include work station monitor, installations, hi-fi, broadcast, surround sound, project/home studio, mobile recording and nearfield reference monitoring.
